1. Product presentation

The e-GP Air airbag system contains a vest, an e-cartouche and a USB cable.
a. vest: contains the airbag, a back protector level 2 and a CDU sensor (Crash detection
unit). The CDU sensor analyzes the motion in context (position in space of the rider,
speed, etc.) and detects accidents.
b. e-cartridge: inflates the airbag in the event of a fall or an accident. It is for single
use only and must be replaced after each inflation (see page 21).
c. USB cable: to recharge the vest battery (see page 19).
Caution: only the USB cable is included, you can plug it into any standard USB charger.

2. General information

y Helite airbags are worn like a normal vest when riding.
y Helite airbags offer a high level of protection when activated. The airbag effectively
absorbs shocks and stabilizes the body from the head to the bottom of the back,
thus reducing the risk of over bending the spinal column.
y This PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) contains no known allergenic substances.
The design will not cause any irritation or discomfort to the wearer.
y The e-cartridge is not re-usable. A used or damaged cartridge will have to be
recycled or disposed in accordance with your country's legislation.
y The airbag sheaths may get damaged or pierced during a fall if they hit a sharp
object.
y In the event of a fall, it is possible to unscrew the e-cartridge to deflate the airbag
faster.

3. Safety precautions

CAUTION, failure to follow safety instructions may lead to airbag malfunctioning or
