Blow the inside of the product clean with
compressed air regularly to remove dust
and debris.
WARNING!
A damaged power cord or plug must be
replaced by an authorised service centre, or
other qualified personnel, to ensure safe use.
TROUBLESHOOTING
WARNING!
Switch off the product, pull out the plug
and discharge the electrode to earth before
inspection, maintenance and/or cleaning,
otherwise there is a risk of personal injury.
UNSTABLE ARC
•
Loose cable to burner or earth clip. Check
that all connections are correctly tightened.
•
The burner is damaged, or wires in the
burner have come loose. Allow qualified
personnel to check and repair, or replace
the burner.
THE PRODUCT DOES NOT START
WHEN THE POWER IS SWITCHED
ON
•
The overheating protection has tripped.
Allow the product to cool until the red
status light for overheating goes out and
then resume working. Work shorter
sessions or take longer pauses to reduce
wear and the risk of overheating.
•
Fault on the power switch. Allow qualified
personnel to repair, or replace the power
switch.
•
The fuse has tripped. Have qualified
personnel check and if necessary replace
the fuse.
THE ARC IS WEAK
•
Incorrect mains voltage. Allow an
authorised electrician to check and if

necessary repair the power-mains in the
building.
THE ARC DOES NOT LIGHT
•
Inadequate earthing. Check that the earth
clip is correctly connected to the
workpiece and that the workpiece is clean
at the clip and along the cut.
•
The nozzle is worn or the wrong size.
Check that the nozzle is the right size for
the burner. Check that the hole in the tip
of the nozzle is not deformed, enlarged or
dirty. If necessary, replace with suitable
nozzle.
NO GAS FLOW
•
The nozzle is blocked. Clean the nozzle.
Replace if damaged.
•
The pressure regulator is closed. Check
that the regulator is correctly adjusted.
•
The air hose is blocked. Check the air
supply hose and the air hose in the burner
cable.
THE PRODUCT OVERHEATS
•
Input voltage is too high or too low. Allow
an authorised electrician to check and if
necessary repair the power-mains in the
building.
