9.
Put the burner nozzle on the workpiece,
keep the trigger on the burner pressed
until the arc lights up and the yellow status
light for cutting goes on. Make sure that
the burner does not come into contact
with anything other than the workpiece.
10. Move the burner slowly along the cutting
line. Tilt the burner a little so that the
nozzle points towards the finished part of
the cut and the flow of air carries the smelt
metal away from the workpiece. If the cut
does not have the required quality, set a
higher amperage with the potentiometer
and/or increase the air flow.
11. The burner nozzle must be in light contact
all the time with the workpiece when
cutting, otherwise the arc can go out.
12. The burner has a 2.5S/5S nozzle, which is
cooled by the flow of air when the trigger
is released.
NOTE:
If the current consumption is too high the
overheating protection will trip and the red
status light goes on. The product switches
off automatically. The work can be resumed
when the product has cooled.
AFTER CUTTING
1.
Release the trigger and lift the burner off
the workpiece.
2.
Put the power switch in the off position.
3.
Place the burner on the welding table.
4.
Switch offthe air supply.
5.
Pull out the plug.
6.
Wait until all the parts of the product have
cooled. Store the product indoors, out of
the reach of children.
Plasma cutting
1.
Plasma cutting requires training. Practice
lighting the arc and keeping it lit on spare
pieces. This makes it easier to judge which
settings are suitable for the material to be cut.
2.
The product can be used to cut all
electrically conductive metal, up to carbon
steel or the equivalent with a thickness
of about 12 mm. Very thin or very thick
workpieces are more difficult to cut.
3.
Set the air pressure to 4 to 5 bar. A
higher air pressure gives a faster flow of
plasma and a higher cutting pressure.
The air pressure and amperage should be
adjusted up/down at the same time.
4.
Move the burner more slowly for thicker
workpieces of hard metal, and more
slowly for thin workpieces of soft metal.
Keep the burner moving all the time
during the cutting.
MAINTENANCE
NOTE:
No parts of the product can be serviced by
the user.
WARNING!
Avoid accidental starting.
Put the power switch in the off position
and pull out the plug before adjustment,
maintenance and/or cleaning.
Never use the product if it is damaged or not
working properly. Have the product checked
and repaired before using it again if it
vibrates or makes abnormal noise.
1.
Always check that the product is in good
condition before use. Check that all
screw unions are tight, that no parts are
incorrectly adjusted or damaged, that
no wires are damaged, and that there
are no other factors that could affect
functionality.
2.
Wipe the product with a damp cloth after
use.
