RINSING AND DESCALING
When the descaling cycle is over, the machine
will stop: then, the rinsing cycle must be per-
former.
This condition will be notified as follows:
• the
button: steady light;
• CAFFÈ LUNGO button
• "no water"
warning light: steady light;
• descaling warning light
Proceed as described below:
• empty the contained used to collect the solu-
tion;
• remove, empty and fit the drawer back into
place;
• remove the water tank and wash it thor-
oughly;
• fill the tank with non-carbonated fresh drink-
ing water up to the MAX. level;
• fit the tank with the fresh water back into the
machine.
DESCALING
: steady light;
: blinking
Place a container with a capacity of at least 0.5
litres under the supply device.
Press the CAFFÈ LUNGO button
the rinsing cycle.
When the container is full, press the CAFFÈ
LUNGO button
again to stop the rinsing
operation.
Empty the container and place it again under
the dispenser, then press the CAFFÈ LUNGO
button
again to continue.
Upon completion of the rinsing cycle, perform
one more rinsing cycle by following the instruc-
tions given in steps
To end the rinsing cycle, a minimum amount of
(70 fl. oz./ 2 litres) of water must be supplied.
In case of lack of water, the cycle will be temporar-
ily interrupted, the machine will emit a prolonged
acoustic signal
"No water" warning lamp
will come on to a orange steady light.
Top the water up in the tank.
Then the supply has been completed, clean the
machine by means of a moist, soft cloth.
Remove, empty, rinse and fit the drawer back
into place.
After cleaning the machine, the descaling pro-
cess will be over. The machine will be ready for
use.
