DESCALING CYCLE
Limescale normally builds up with extended use
of the appliance; the machine needs descaling
every 2 months and/or whenever a reduction in
water flow is noticed.
The descaling cycle will be requested by the
machine through the switching-on of the or-
ange warning lamp available .
Do not switch the machine off when the
descaling cycle is under way.
Do not move away from the machine when
the descaling cycle is under way.
The cycle will have, once it has been started,
to be performed completely.
The milk frothing jug shall not been inserted
during the descaling cycle.
With the machine set to the OFF MODE, pro-
ceed as follows:
• lift and lower the capsule loading lever, to
make sure no capsules are left inside; remove
and empty the tray;
• remove and empty the water tank,
• remove the filter (if any).
