Lap/Shoulder Belt (Rear-Facing and Forward-Facing)
Some vehicle lap/shoulder belts
have a plastic button or extra fold of
webbing on the belt. Do not allow
these to interfere with belt routing
through LockStrong. If they
interfere:
a. Shift the Base slightly to the
left or right to eliminate the
interference.
b. Use LATCH if within the weight
limit, or
c. Move the Car Seat to a different
location.
9. Grab Base near belt path as shown
and pull side to side and front to back
to make sure Base is installed tightly.
Base should not move more than 2.5
cm (1 in) side to side or front to back
at the Belt Path on the Car Seat.
