• Overheat Protection: An internal sensor monitors the hob temperature. If excessive heat is detected, the hob
switches off automatically. The cooling fan may continue to operate for a few minutes after shutdown to cool the
internal electronics.
• Residual Heat Indicator: When a cooking zone is turned off, the letter "H" appears on the display, indicating
residual heat, even if the hob is off. It disappears once the temperature has decreased sufficiently.
• Power Level Regulation: If the power level of one zone is increased while others are active, the hob may
automatically reduce power to one or more zones to remain within power limits.
• Protection against liquid spillage: If a liquid spills or a metallic object covers the controls, the hob will switch off
all cooking zones and emit a warning beep.

Switching the Hob On and Off

Press and hold the On/Off key (B) "
