Installing the upper section
Shorten the upper section if necessary.
Heed the minimum insertion depth when shortening.
The upper section must project approx. 2.5 cm above
the seal on the inside.
If the cable duct is to be installed in the upper sec-
tion, it must be carried out with the KESSEL hole saw
art. no. 50101 or a standard hole saw Ø 60 mm and the
pipe penetration seal art. no. 850114.
When an extension section is used, care must be
taken to ensure that the cable duct is routed above the
floor slab.
Set the seal on the drain body, check to ensure a correct
fit.
Grease the sealing lip(s).
Insert an extension section if necessary. Follow the
enclosed instructions.
Insert the upper section.
Insert a cable duct if necessary.
Tilt the upper section by up to 5° if necessary.
Then check to ensure that the sealing lip(s) fit properly.
