Remove the protective cover (exposed installation)
The model type for free-standing set-up is delivered with a
protective cover to prevent damage to the components fol-
lowing commissioning.
Undo the clip closures on one side, then the other side.
If the clip closures are undone crosswise, damage to
the protective cover can occur.
4.3
Installing the drain body
Observe the following requirements for the positioning of the drain body:
In the case of a downpipe, maintain the stilling section of 1 m upstream and downstream of the entire system.
Maintain clearance to the wall and fixed objects to guarantee access to the system.
Attach the socket and spigot to the drain body using rotat-
ing fasteners.
Check in both cases whether the rotating fastener is
closed and the socket or spigot is fitted flush!
Connect the drain body to the pipes. Make sure that:
The drain body is aligned with the controls in a hori-
zontal position facing upwards.
The installation location corresponds to the direction of
flow
