TROUBLESHOOTING
Maintenance
•
The Pro's Pro Phoenix stringing machine is supplied correctly adjusted and calibrated. It has been developed to enable simple and
maintenance-free operation.
•
Always place the machine in a clean and safe place and keep it away from dust, grease, moisture and heat.
•
Clean the stringing machine frequently to prevent the accumulation of dust and dirt. Clean the surface of the machine with a soft
cloth or brush it to remove dust from the quick-release clamp, for example.
•
Do not clean the plastic with cleaning agents (such as benzene or similar agents) that can damage the plastic.
•
Use isopropyl alcohol and a soft, clean cloth to clean the holding clamps, the rails, the quick release and the inside of the lower parts
of the clamps.
•
Use a fine emery cloth to remove any string residue from the retaining clamps and the quick release. - However, do not use sandpaper
•
Use a light machine oil, such as sewing machine oil, to lubricate the extension of the holding clamps and the inside of the holder on the
lower parts of the clamps
•
Do not lubricate the rails of the turntable!
•
Do not use penetrating oil to clean or lubricate.
•
Check the pliers / pliers bases of the Pro's Pro Phoenix often to make sure they are holding the string properly.
•
After tensioning, set the weight back to 0 kg to relieve the spring.

Adjusting the lower parts of the pliers
If you do not fix the base to the rail, it must be adjusted. To do this, proceed as
follows:
.
1) Clean the teeth of the holding pliers.
2) When open, turn the wheel of the holding clamp to reduce the distance
1) Use a fine emery cloth to remove string residue from the retaining clamps and the quick
release - but do not use sandpaper. (if necessary, you can also use a glue remover)
2) Reduce the distance in the quick release by turning the quick release adjustment screw
to the left until the string is held securely.
