Practical tips & hints
Locking turntable:
There is a locking lever on the underside of the turntable. If you pull this out, the turntable can no longer be moved. To release this lock,
simply push the lever back in.
Removing the crank pull system
.
Holding forceps:
Please note that the black O-ring is an essential component of the holding clamp. Please do not remove it
under any circumstances!
The distance between the jaws can be adjusted to the desired string thickness using the adjustment wheel on
the holding clamp.
Lower parts of pliers (base):
You must first lift the holding clamp and clamp the string. The lever at the bottom of the base
can then be closed to fix the base to the rail. To release the base, simply open the pliers and
drop them. The locking mechanism then opens automatically: If the base can no longer be fixed
correctly, please refer to the further information under Troubleshooting.
There is a small metal plate on the underside of the crank that hangs downwards. This "lever"
allows the clamping head to be pushed forwards or backwards above the
"Rail barrel". By lifting this "lever", the clamping head is released from the barrel on one side
and can then simply be pushed back.
