Inserting the string & stringing
The racket is now brought into the desired position using the locking screws on the supports and the fine adjustment screws on the
support arm. The racket must be enclosed by the frame fixings and the heart head fixings. CAUTION: Do not apply too much force, as
this could damage the racquet!
Now set the desired weight.
The weight is set using the weight adjustment screw on the right, on the back of the crank. The set pull weight can then be read off the
scale (in kilograms and pounds). The numbers marked on this screw (0, 1, 2) indicate increments in pounds.
As soon as a tensile force is applied to the tensioning head (i.e. the string is tensioned by the quick release due to the backward
movement of the crank), the brake is automatically released as soon as the set weight is reached. The crank lock lever jumps out of its
anchorage (Fig. 2). The tensioning head can then no longer be moved. The string can now be disconnected. To release the brake, simply
push the locking lever back into its anchorage (Fig. 1).
