Caution!
Risk of injury caused by sharp edges and metal filings: Drilling and other machining operations can
create sharp edges and metal filings which may cause injury.
· Always particularly protect your eyes with suitable protective goggles.
Preparing for assembly
Caution!
Unsuitable doors impair personal protection and burglary protection: Only approved and technically
flawless doors are suitable for installing the lock.
· Before installing the lock, check that the door is properly fitted and is not warped.
· Check that the door is approved for use with the lock.

Create the lock recess at a suitable vertical installation position in the door leaf. Allow for an extra
30-mm depth for the cable loop.

Create the drill holes for the fixing screws as in line with Fig. 10 and Fig. 11, page 108.

Drill the holes for the lock fittings (only with the lock removed).
4
Clean the lock recess and all drill holes by blowing out or vacuuming.
