POSSIBLE CAUSE(S)
1. Low air pressure.
2. Inadequately sized
compressor.
3. Damaged air
compressor.
4. The riveter is low on
hydraulic oil.
1. There are poor hose
connections in the
system.
2. Damaged O-ring.
3. Dirty air valve or air
inlet.
SUGGESTED SOLUTION(S)
1. Check the regulator to verify
that it is set to 90 PSI.
2. Upgrade to a suitable
compressor of adequate
capability.
3. Have the compressor
serviced by a qualified
service centre.
4. Top up the hydraulic oil
reservoir and prime the
riveter.
1. Reconnect the air system
using thread sealant tape on
the fittings.
2. Replace the O-ring.
3. Clean and lubricate with
pneumatic tool oil.
