chanical reductions and should be installed in a flexible
manner.
NOTICE:
Deionised water should not be used as
drinking water.
Deionised water is not drinking water quality and is not
intended for human consumption.
4 Structure and functions
4.1 Functional description
Natural drinking water contains minerals in dissolved form,
which are almost completely removed by BWT AQUA
MINISTIL cartridges. In order to filter the water, drinking
water is transported from top to bottom through a blending
bed resin charge, which then binds the salts, carbon
dioxide and silic acid. If the resin capacity is exhausted, the
cartridge can be replaced in a few simple steps.
For information on using our regeneration service,
see Part 15.3.
4.2 MINISTIL P-6; P-12 and P-24
Injection-moulded plastic cartridge with bayonet
connector, adapter with conductance measuring device
and monitor, conductance display and limit value input.
Variant with conductance measuring device in the
connection fitting at the water outlet, with external
conductance monitor. With flexible stainless steel sheathed
connection hoses and 3/4" female thread. The cartridges
are filled with ion exchange resin.
4.3 MINISTIL P-21; P-41; P-61 and P-101
Glass fibre reinforced plastic cartridge with bayonet
connector, adapter with conductance measuring device
and monitor, conductance display and limit value input.
Variant with conductance measuring device in the
connection fitting at the water outlet, with external
conductance monitor. With flexible stainless steel sheathed
connection hoses and 3/4" female thread. The cartridges
are filled with ion exchange resin.
