the right hand corner of the fuelbed (Fig 6). Particular care should be given after installation to ensure the receiver jack
is fully connected to ensure the product functions correctly (Fig 7).
COMMISSIONING/INITIAL PRODUCT START-UP
FILLING THE WATER TANK
Before powering on the product for the first time, ensure that a full water tank has been placed on the product. Open the
drawer and remove the water tank from its location on top of the sump (Fig 8) and open it by unscrewing the orange cap
(Fig 9). The tank should be filled with clean tap water only - Refer to WATER QUALITY & CLEANING for more details.
When the tank is replaced on top of the sump, it will take about one minute for the tank to empty into the sump. Allow the
sump to fill fully before switching on the product. Once filling is complete, the tank can be refilled and replaced on top
of the sump. This will allow for the maximum capacity of water to be stored in the product. Close the drawer when filled.
OPERATING THE PRODUCT
This section describes how to activate your fire using either the manual controls and remote control.
MAINS SWITCH
Open the drawer to access the control panel. The mains switch is located on the module and controls the electricity to
the appliance (Fig 10A).
Note: This switch must be in the 'ON' ( I ) position for each appliance to operate.
MANUAL CONTROLS
Manual controls are discretely hidden under the log on the right hand corner of the fuel bed. To access simply lift off the
log (Fig 6).
REMOTE CONTROL
The remote control is supplied with 2x CR2032 batteries already fitted. Pull both tabs from the rear cover to engage the
batteries (Fig 11) and allow remote operation.
Note: The tethered receiver must be fitted to the product for remote control operation.
PAIRING THE REMOTE CONTROL
The remote control has wireless Bluetooth technology and needs to be paired to the receiver. This can be done by
following the steps below.
1.
Open the drawer and press the rocker switch to the on (I) position.
2.
Press the
button on the control panel (Fig 10B); the product will turn on.
3.
Press the
button on the control panel (Fig 10B), the LED's will start to slowly blink on and off.
4.
Press the
button on the remote control; the product LEDs will flash quickly five times and the product will then
automatically switch off. The remote control is now paired to the product and can be used to switch it back on.
TO REPLACE THE BATTERIES
1.
Remove battery cover of the remote control using a Philips screwdriver (Fig 12).
2.
Correctly install two 3 Volt (CR2032 or similar) battery in the battery holder with the + side facing up .
3.
Secure the battery cover using the previously removed screw.
Batteries must be recycled or disposed of properly.
