1 Safety instructions
1.1 Operating personnel
At the ROCLEAN Injector are only persons allowed who have read and understood these in-
structions. In particular, the special safety precautions must be observed strictly.
• Safety Data Sheets are observed!
• Safety instruction must be observed on bottles ROCLEAN!
2 Installation and operating
The rinsing of heating circuits occurs in three steps:
First step: mechanical cleaning of the system (Fig B1)
Cleaning the system with water - air mixture. The pipes are mechanically clean after the clean-
ing. Efficiency losses caused by contamination are eliminated.
Step Two: Chemical cleaning system (Fig B2)
By the chemical cleaning potential leavings will flushed clean of impurities from the system. The
chemical cleaning slows a new contamination of the system down and is the basis for a subse-
quent preservation.
Step three: preservation of the system (Fig B3)
The chemical forms inside the pipe a protective layer and ensures long-lasting protection of the
system.
2.1 Rinsing of drinking water pipes and heating circuits
ROPULS/ ROPULS eDM instructions must be obeyed!
First step - Mechanical cleaning of the system (Fig. B1):
Make sure that the lever „rinse / ROCLEAN" is set to „flush".
Follow the instructions in the manual ROPULS/ ROPULS eDM „Rinsing during domestic insula-
tion ".Rinse the system as described there. Finally, turn off the flushing compressor off (pressing
the „On / Off" push button) and turn off the water supply.
Second step Chemical cleaning of the system (Fig. B1):
Preparation:
 Mount the ROCLEAN Injector in the flow direction at the water outlet side at the ROPULS.
 The GK connector is with ROPULS connected. The adapter for the bottle is straight down
aligned, then tighten the nut at the GK connection.
 Connect the compressed air hose to the air-side pressure connection.
 They also mount the pressure regulator (solid Setting: 2 bar) in the flow direction at the wa-
ter outlet side at the ROPULS. Check for correct installation (arrow on regulator in the flow
direction).
The ROCLEAN Injector should be used only in conjunction with the pressure regula-
tor at the ROPULS!
The water connection on the supply side of the Compressor must be installed with a
separator!
 Open the ROCLEAN bottle and install at the ROCLEAN Injector. The bottle without a lid is
screwed into the adapter.
Improper use may leak liquid from the bottle. Avoid contact with it. If accidental
contact happen, read the specific safety instructions!
 Turn the lever „rinse / ROCLEAN" in position „ROCLEAN".
 Push the „On / Off" program key. The compressor fills the tank pressure automatically.
 Open the water supply. Open the pipe system.
