Commissioning
Make sure that the maximum loadings are not exceeded.

With high or medium−size work loads or slide speeds:
Use shock absorbers of sufficient dimensions.

The integrated buffers are not intended as continuous cushioning elements.
Warning
Uncontrolled moving masses can cause injury to people or damage to objects.
S Make sure that:
nobody can place his/her hand in the path of the moving load
(e.g. by means of a protective screen).
there are no objects within the positioning path of the axis.
It must not be possible to touch the DGEA−...until the mass has come to a
complete stand.
With mass loads which project in the longi
tudinal direction of the cantilever arm:
Make sure that the work load does not

strike against the drive head or the
(geared) motor when it moves into the
end position.
Ascertaining the direction of movement of the cantilever arm:
1. Start control travel limited to low dynamics.
For reasons of safety the cantilever arm always starts from a stable position.

In spite of the same control and design, motors of the same type may turn in
opposite directions due to the way in which they are wired.
