ETTING THE DIFFUSION INTENSITY
The diffusion intensity is set by alternating diffusion and pause periods. The pause periods allow the scent to spread
throughout the space.
The diffuser uses two timers to set these alternating periods:
n T1 = sets the diffusion duration
T2 = sets the pause duration
n
There is a choice of periods but prefer (T1+T2) periods that last approx. 2 minutes to ensure homogeneous diffusion.
The usual parameters are: 30s of diffusion/60s of pause or 60s of diffusion/60s of pause.
The setting is made by iteration until the desired result is obtained.
WARNING: Depending on the scent chosen, a maximum intensity may be set so as to not exceed
the maximum exposure levels (set in the risk characterisation reports) for people in
the scented area. This value is provided by Scentys.
EXAMPLE: For a 60% intensity setting with a 2 minute (120s) period.
The diffusion parameters are as follows:
