MODEL DESCRIPTION

All Models

Hatco Remote Frost Top Drop-In Shelves are reliable and
versatile. Each unit has an insulated, stainless steel and
aluminized steel housing. The bottom of the recessed frost
top enclosure is covered with a copper evaporator coil to
provide even cooling from edge to edge. A 1" NPT drain in
the recessed enclosure is standard on all two and three pan
units. Remote Frost Top Drop-In Shelves are controlled by a
digital temperature controller and a Power I/O (on/off) Switch
housed in a single, remote-mountable control panel. All models
are designed to be mounted to the topside of various types
of countertop material including stainless steel, wood, Corian,
Swanstone, etc... Hatco Remote Frost Top Drop-In Shelves
are designed, manufactured, and tested to maintain safe food
holding temperatures.
FTBR Models
FTBR Models are available in one, two, and three pan
configurations. These models orient full-size sheet pans in the
standard position with the short side facing the customer.
FTBR models consist of a Frost Top Drop-In Shelf, a remote-
mounted control panel, a remote-mounted condensing unit,
and a thermal expansion valve (TXV valve, shipped loose). All
plumbing and electrical connections between the components
as well as to the electrical supply are the responsibility of the
end user and a qualified installer.
FTBR-S Models
FTBR-S Models are available in two and three pan
configurations. These models are "slim" designed and orient
full-size sheet pans with the long side facing the customer. The
slim design allows easy, reachable access to everything on
the frost top.

FTBR-S models consist of a Frost Top Drop-In Shelf, a remote-
