The prosthesis has an energy management system, which gives it a battery life of several days.
The battery life will vary with use. However, it is recommended to recharge the battery at least
once a week.
The charging time is 6 hours, for a full charge. The battery is guaranteed for 500 charging cycles.

There are three alert thresholds, indicating:
x 3 =
x 5 =
x 10 =
Stay still for 10 seconds while the mode switches and recharge the battery as soon as possible.
Check the knee's flexion resistance before walking again.
Without the electronic control, the prosthesis has:
-
Constant knee resistance (stance = swing), the level of which can be set as the patient
wishes: "free" for higher mobility (no brake) or "braked" for higher safety (no swing
phase)
-
End of swing phase damping
-
Free ankle movement, especially placing the foot flat on the ground.
It no longer enables:
-
Adaptation to the knee resistance, under load or free
-
Adaptation to the walking speed
-
Adaptation to the shoe heel height
Switching mode (cycling, lock...)
-
C.
In case of a prolonged period out of use (several
weeks), switch off the prosthesis:
1. Bend the knee then press & hold the two buttons
simultaneously for 10 seconds.
2. OR via the ON/OFF button using the tool
1P700132-S supplied: press & hold for 10 seconds.
Think about switching the prosthesis back on and checking its
charge, before reusing. The knee will be ready to be worn
with the reference shoes.
Battery drained
< 10%
When the battery charge no longer allows normal
< 5%
operation of the prosthesis, it will be automatically placed
in a mode defined with the orthopedic prosthetist (free or
resistant knee).
