Use and emergency procedures

3.2.2 STANDARD EMERGENCY OPERATION

For a correct emergency operation make reference to the following instructions:
A) Switch off the power turning to

B) Turn the light on in the well.

D) Make sure that all the landing doors are closed and hang up the "
E) Get back to the machine room and push the red button on the power unit, the car should travel slowly
downward to the nearest floor. The indicator on the control panel should light up as soon as the car
arrives at landing level.
F) Let the passengers get out of the car and close the car and the landing doors.
G) Make sure that all the landing doors are closed.
H) Keep the power in the machine room until the maintaining organization comes, turn the light off in
OFF
the well and shut the machine room door.
I) Call the maintenance organization to report that the emergency is solved or is to solve and also to
request the necessary checks to restore the normal working conditions of the lift.

3.2.3 MRL LIFT EMERGENCY OPERATION

For a correct emergency operation make reference to the following
instructions:
A) Switch off the power turning to

D) Make sure that all the landing doors are closed and hang up the

E) Get back to remote push-button panel box and push the button with
the down arrow (DN), the car should travel slowly downward to the
nearest floor. The indicator on the remote push-button panel should
light up as soon as the car arrives at landing level.
F) Let the passengers get out of the car
G) Close the car and the landing doors.
H) Make sure that all the landing doors are closed.
I) Keep the power off until the maintaining organization comes to
check the lift, turn the light off in the well, close and lock with the key
the remote push-button panel box.
J) Call the maintenance organization to report that the emergency is
solved or is to solve and also to request the necessary checks to
restore the normal working conditions of the lift.
IMPORTANT
If the system will be out of service for more than 14 hours, drive the car at the lowest floor and make
sure that all the landing doors are closed.

3.2.4 EMERGENCY KEY (UNLOCKING TRIANGLE )

When you need to open the doors even if the car is not at floor level, it is necessary to use the emergency
key (unlocking triangle) as follows:
- Hang up all the out of service signs.
- Drive the car at floor level by the emergency operation.
- Insert the emergency key in the unlocking triangle hole on the floor door.
- Turn the key and open the door with caution.
• The emergency key (unlocking triangle) should be kept by the responsible person, the lift maintenance
company or under safety glass in the machine room.
• The emergency key (unlocking triangle) can be used only by the lift maintenance company.
• At the end, make sure that the stopping door device is locked with closed door, according with the sign on
the emergency key (unlocking triangle)
• When there are car doors or landing doors coupled, a device assures the automatic car door closing, if
for any reason the floor door could be open when the car has left the unlocking position.
