Correct operation and compliance with the measurement accuracy
can only be ensured if the environmental conditions specified in the
"Technical data" (→ page 41) are adhered to. Ensure that the maxi-
mum pressure range, measuring range and permitted operating tem-
perature are not exceeded.
After mounting, wiring and programming check whether the unit
operates correctly.
Fault indication
Measured value > 120% of the final value of the measuring range.
Measured value < lowest value of the measuring range.
Flashing: short circuit in the switching output 1.*
Flashing: short circuit in the switching output 2.*
Flashing: short circuit in both switching outputs.*
Flashing: fault in the measuring probe.
*The output concerned is switched off as long as the short circuit continues.
These faults are indicated even if the display is deactivated.
The unit is maintenance-free for media which will not adhere to the
measuring probes.
• From time to time check the measuring probes visually for build-up.
• If necessary, clean them at regular intervals. To do so, use a suitable
cleaning liquid (e.g. alcoholic solution).
• Avoid mechanical damage to the measuring probes.
