11. Troubleshooting
Fault when opening
The acoustic signal
sounds twice and the
red LED flashes twice
No signal
Red LED lights up and
white LED flashes 3 times
The red and white LEDs
flash 3 times alternately
If the faults cannot be rectified, contact our Dialock service at www.hafele.com.
12. Reset
A reset is required for maintenance purposes or for rectifying faults.
There are two reset options:
Simple reset,
complete reset.
A reset can only be carried out with the MDU 110 mobile data transfer unit

Simple reset
A simple reset is required in the following cases:
If the programming key card and clearing key card (master keys) have been lost.
After a simple reset, the allocated master keys are cleared and reallocation is required
(white LED continuously flashing).
Further use of the terminal and use of the MDU 110 mobile data transfer unit is only possible
after recommissioning with new master keys ( 7. Commissioning, page 45). The locking
authorisations for the user keys are retained after a simple reset.
12.2
Complete reset
A complete reset resets the terminal to the factory settings. All data is cleared. The terminal then
has to be reconfigured ( 7. Commissioning, page 45).
A complete reset is required in the following cases:
Complete erasing of all data (e.g. in the event of return to stocks / warehouse).
Resetting of software operation to stand-alone mode (SA).

Batteries completely

The guest has activated
