Pre-selection of the Cutting Depth
Loosen the wing bolt (3) on the depth guide and move the base up or down.
At the desired depth of cut, secure the base by tightening the wing bolt (3).
Miter cuts
To make miter cuts, the cover plate (9) must be removed by loosening the
two wing bolts (8).
Loosen the wing bolt (4) on the bevel scale plate on the front of the base.
Set for the desired angle (0 - 45°) by tilting accordingly, then tighten the wing
bolt securely.
Dipping function
To create cut-out sections or for joint renovation, you can dip into the
material with the diamond saw.
Loosen the wing bolt (3) on the depth guide
The wing bolt (3) must be open while dipping.
Place the machine on the workpiece.
Activate the machine without allowing the diamond cutting disc to touch the
workpiece, and dip it into the workpiece.
Secure the wing bolts (3) as soon as you have reached the required depth of
cut.
Take extreme care when using this function!
Attention!
The exact depth of cut depends on the wear of the diamond segments.
If necessary, the required depth of cut must be checked after a short
time by measuring it manually and correcting accordingly.
Dry cutting
Dust which occurs during your work is hazardous to health. That is
why the machine must be used with a vacuum cleaner, and a dust
mask has to be worn.
The suitable Wet/Dry Vacuum Cleaner DSS 25 / 35 / 50 is available as
accessory.
It can directly be attached to the connection (5) on the dust hood.
