WMF Aroma Perfection
If you would like to prepare a strong aromatic coffee, you can activate the aroma function WMF
Aroma Perfection. It is particularly recommended for preparing small amounts. Just press the Start/
Stop button (1) twice quickly, and the ring light on the Start/Stop button (1) will fl ash white.
Note: If you wait longer than approximately 3 seconds before pressing the Start/Stop button (2) for a
second time, the appliance will switch off.
Please note that the preparation time takes slightly longer.
Keep-warm function
(only version with glass jug)
In order to keep the fi nished brewed coffee at a serving temperature, your device is equipped with
a keep-warm function. After the preparation is complete, the keep-warm function activates
automatically and the Start / Stop button (1) remains illuminated white. The keep-warm time is 30
minutes. Then the device automatically switches off and the Start / Stop button (1) turns off.
You can deactivate the keep-warm function at any time by pressing the Start / Stop button (1).
Automatic shut-off
(only version with thermos jug)
After being switched on, the automatic shut-off ensures that the device does not overheat. Only once
the water has completely passed through does the device switch off and the Start / Stop button (1) is
no longer illuminated.
It is possible to shut off the coffee maker early by pressing the Start / Stop button (1) . This could be
necessary if you accidentally start the coffee machine without water. You must wait for a few minutes
before you add more water into the hot device. Allow the coffee machine to cool beforehand.
Information about the Cromargan® vacuum jug
(only version with vacuum jug)
The jug is designed as a serving pot and best keeps the content warm when it is full. The time the
content is kept warm can be signifi cantly reduced if it is only partially full or has residual amounts. It
is best to rinse the jug with hot water before preparation.
Place the lid on the pot so that the markings on the pot and lid are at . Turn the lid to the pouring
position (see image). In this position the lid is also secured against falling off. A full jug should only
be used in an upright position, since the lid does not have a sealing function.
Note: Stubborn coffee grounds in the jug can e.g. be dissolved with baking soda.
To remove the lid, turn it slightly counter-clockwise.
The double-walled Cromargan® jug is absolutely shatter-proof.
Nevertheless, it should be protected against mechanical stresses.
Rinse the jug regularly. If iron particles from water accumulate on
the Cromargan® surface, they can create pitting at those points.
These deposits must therefore be removed immediately with a
stainless steel cleanser.
