The thermostat on the Touch Taper is preset at 110° F (43° C), which is the correct
setting for normal operation. If you are using a heavy tape or working in a very cold
environment, set the water temperature slightly higher. If you are using lighter tape, set
the temperature lower.
To change the water temperature:
1. Turn the power switch off and unplug the power cord.
2. Remove the water bottle.
3. Unhook the water regulator from the sideplate.
4. Remove the brush tank (with the hose and regulator attached) from the tape
machine by releasing the holding clip.
Caution! The water in the tank and the exposed brush tank post may be hot.
5. Remove the brush from the brush tank.
6. Pour the water out of the tank, the hose, and the regulator.
