5.2 INITIAL PROGRAMMING THROUGH THE TPE
Connect the universal TPE programmer to the interconnection module of the sub-rack. The TPE
1. switches on automatically,
2. carries out the headend scanning,
3. the modules contained in the headend are recognized automatically.
Continue with the headend navigation and select the position occupied by the SIG7330 module (refer to the
HEADEND SETUP AND KTP EMULATION MENU).
NOTE 1: To make programming easier, the module is supplied with the OSD (On Screen Display) enabled
by the TPE; it transmits the same menus of the TPE with a Help description on the display (TV, field me-
ter...).
To use this functionality, the TPE programmer must have the 0.7 version or a version more current (avail-
able in our web site www.fracarro.com).
NOTE 2: the menu language can be changed. To modify this setting, refer to the GENERAL MENU OF THE
TPE (TPE SETUP --> LANGUAGE). Moreover, it is essential to verify that the set timeout is equal to 30. To
verify this setting, refer to the TPE GENERAL MENU (TPE SETUP --> TIMEOUT COM).
NOTE 3: Using SIG7905 – Controller Host device it's possible to monitor and setup remotely.
IMPORTANT: Press the
minutes from the last modification, the set data will be lost and the previous data will be restored.
IMPORTANT: If you install the receiver SIG7330 to draw a program only from the RCA OUTPUT,
it's preferable to disable the Transport Stream output on back-panel (OUTPUT menu of TPE
-> TS OUTPUT -> DISABLE). The receiver has to be installed in the sub-rack on the left of the
modulator, moreover there must not be empty position in the sub-rack between a receiver
SIG7330 and a modulator SIG7120.
