General information

You have purchased a DuPont Tychem
mical protective gas-tight suit. This suit is for use within
certain contaminated environments only. You must carefully
read and follow these operating instructions closely.
All suits are CE-marked to indicate compliance with Euro-
pean directives on personal protective equipment (PPE). The
Tychem TK. gas-tight suit has been tested in accordance
®
with EN 943-2:2002 as Type 1a and Type 1a-ET gas tight limited
use chemical protective clothing.
For further information on the performance results of
Tychem ® TK. material refer to the technical data on page 24.
Tychem ® TK. material is made of polymers which do not
contain halogens in their structural formula. Depending on the
chemical nature and the amount of contamination on the gar-
ment after its use, the gas-tight suit may be either incinerated
without harm to the environment or buried in a responsible
way. Restrictions to the disposal of used Tychem
tight suits depends on the contaminant.
