Operation
SIP 10 setup
When a SIP 10 module is connected to the photometer, an additional
SIPPER button is shown in the toolbar.
1.
Press SIPPER on the toolbar.
A Sipper options menu opens.
2.
Press ON to modify the settings for a Sipper cycle.
SIP TIME: The sip time determines the sample volume
pumped through the cell.
To make sure that there is a complete exchange of fluid in the
Pour-Thru Cell, the minimum time setting is 25 seconds
Default setting: 25 seconds. The flow speed is 1 mL/sec.
SETTLE TIME: The settle time defines the duration of the
standstill phase between the pump process and measurement
process. This time period allows any air bubbles that have
formed during the pump process to disappear and any sample
turbulence to cease.
Default setting: 5 seconds
PURGE TIME: The purge time determines the volume of rinse
agent that is pumped through the cell after each measurement.
This additional purge cycle can be deactivated.
Default setting: off
