Adjusting the height of the upper sawblade guide (Fig. 19)
The height of the upper sawblade guide (38) must be set:
•
Before you use the saw, each time you use it, according to the height of the workpiece to be cut (the upper sawblade
guide must be approximately 3 mm above the workpiece when it is cut);
•
Following each sawblade or table adjustment, change of sawblade, or change of sawblade tension.
Warning!
Before you set the upper sawblade guide and tilt of the table:
•
Unplug the machine.
•
Wait until the sawblade has stopped.
Using the adjustment knob (37), place the upper sawblade guide (38) in the position desired.
8.1
USING YOUR SAW
1. Select and install the chip guard corresponding to the desired type of cut.
2. If necessary, adjust the tilt of the table.
3. Select the parallel guide and tilt of the table according to the type of cut you want.
4. Position the upper sawblade guide 3 mm above the piece to be cut.
Useful tip:
Before sawing, always make a test cut and change the settings if required.
5. Place the workpiece on the table.
6. Insert the power plug.
7. Connect the saw to the mains.
8. Saw the workpiece in a single operation.
9. Unplug the machine if you cannot continue your work immediately.

UPKEEP AND MAINTENANCE
Warning!
Before any upkeep or cleaning operation:
•
Unplug the machine.
•
Remove the power plug.
•
Wait until the saw has stopped.
After your upkeep or cleaning operations, re-set the safety device and check that it is operating properly.
You must always replace damaged parts, especially the safety device, with genuine factory parts since parts that have not
been checked and approved by the manufacturer can cause unpredictable damage.
Only qualified staff is authorised to carry out maintenance and repair work other than the operations described in this section.
9.1
CHANGING THE SAWBLADE (Fig. 20 - 21)
Warning!
You can cut yourself even when the sawblade is not moving. Wear gloves to change the sawblade.
Only use appropriate sawblades.
1. Loosen the two screws (39) and remove the guide plate (40).
2. Open the two doors.
3. Direct the upper sawblade guide (41) downwards.
4. Loosen the adjustment knob (42) until the sawblade is loose.
5. Remove the sawblade and pass the slide through the slit in the table (43) in the upper sawblade guide (44), the sawblade
opening (45) and rack.
6. Install the new sawblade. Make sure each element is in the correct position: The teeth of the saw must point to the front
(towards the door) of the saw.
7. Install the sawblade in the middle of the rubber tires.
