13. Throttle trigger
Spring loaded to return to idle when released. Trigger lockout
must be depressed fully before Throttle trigger will move. During
acceleration, depress gradually for best operating technique.
14. Ignition switch
"Ignition switch " located on the top of the rear handle. Press
switch "I" to Run, press "STOP" to Stop.
15.. "Blocking" switch
Pulling the "Blocking" switch, the handle can be rotated to
several angles: 45º and 90º counterclockwise+45ºand
90ºclockwise for good control during operation.
16. Muffler
The muffler controls exhaust noise and emission. Keep exhaust
area clear of flammable debris.
17. Blade cover
Used to cover blades during transportation or storage. Remove
blade cover before using hedge trimmer.
2.SAFETY
General Instructions
- THIS MACHINE CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INJURIES. Read
the Instructions
carefully for correct handling, preparation, maintenance, starting
and stopping of
the machine. Be familiar with all controls and the proper use of
the machine. (1)
- It is recommended only to loan the hedge trimmer to people
who have proven to
be experienced with hedge trimmers.
Always hand over the instruction manual.
- First-time users should ask the dealer for basic instructions to
familiarize
themselves with handling of an engine powered hedge trimmer.
- Children and young persons aged under 18 years must not be
allowed to operate
the hedge trimmer. Persons over the age of 16 years may
however use the
device for the purpose of being trained only while under the
supervision of a
qualified trainer.
- Use the hedge trimmer with the utmost care and attention.
- Operate the hedge trimmer only if you are in a good physical
condition. Perform
all work calmly and carefully. The user has to accept liability for
others.
- Never use the hedge trimmer after consuming alcohol or
drugs, or if feeling tired
or ill. (2)
Intended use of the machine
- The hedge trimmer is designed for only the purpose of
trimming bushes and
hedges, and must not be used for any other purpose. Do not
abuse the Trimmer.

Choke control, "Cold Start" position (choke closed).
Choke control, "Run position" (choke open).
Do not allow flames or sparks near fuel.
Ignition On/Off.
Do not operate without guards in place.
Avoid all power lines. This hedge trimmer is not insulated
against electrical current.

Personal condition and safety equipment

● Wear hearing protection which meets CE requirements
whenever hedge trimmer is used.
Wear proper clothing
● Wear snug fitting, durable clothing;
● Pants should have long legs, shirts with long sleeves.
● Do not wear shorts.
● Do not wear ties, scarfs or jewelry.
● Wear protective hair covering to contain long hair.
● Wear sturdy work shoes with nonskid soles;
● Do not wear open toed shoes;
