Recording on Tapes

Since this unit has three separate heads for recording,
playback and erasure, you can check the quality of a
recorded sound by comparing it with the input signal before
recording. (See the 'Displayed indication and signal flow''.)
"SOURCE" will be indicated automatically when the unit
enters recoding standby mode and "TAPE" will be indicated
automatically when the unit enters play mode.
While recording, use the MONITOR hutton to confirm that
there is no distortion due to excessive level settings or sound
degradation due to head contamination.
How to use the MONITOR button
To listen to the input signal before recording, press
MONITOR so-that "SOURCE" will be indicated in the display
window.
To listen to the recorded sound from the tape, press
MONITOR so that "TAPE" will be indicated in the display
window.

Contréle du son enregistré
Comme cet appareil est doté de trois tétes indépendantes
pour lenregistrement, la lecture et l'effacement, il est
possible de vérifier la qualité du son enregistré en comparant
celui-ci au signal d'entrée, avant l'enregistrement (se
reporter a 'Indication affichée et parcours du signal'').
"SOURCE" est automatiquement affiché quand l'appareil se
met en mode d'attente d'enregistrement et "TAPE" est
automatiquement affiché lorsque l'appareil se met en mode
de lecture.
Au cours de l'enregistrement, utiliser la touche MONITOR
pour confirmer s'il n'y a pas de distorsion a cause d'un
réglage excessif ou d'une détérioration du son a cause de
lencrassement des tétes.
Utilisation de la touche MONITOR
Pour écouter fe signal d'entrée avant l'enregistrement,
appuyer sur la touche MONITOR afin de faire apparaitre
"SOURCE" dans la fenétre d'affichage.
Pour écouter le son enregistré sur la bande, appuyer sur la
touche MONITOR afin de faire apparaitre "TAPE" dans la
fenétre d'affichage.
