Before connecting the appliance, make sure the line voltage is cor-
rect. The tag is located on the bottom of the body of the appliance.
If the plug does not fit into the wall outlet, replace the wall outlet with
another type by a qualified electrician, who must also check that the
cord is suitable for the power absorbed by the appliance. In general,
it is not advisable to use an adaptor, multiple socket or an extension
cord. If they are necessary, use only simple or multiple adaptors and
extension cords that conform to safety regulations, being careful not
to exceed the load limits indicated on the adaptor and the extension
cord, or the maximum power indicated on the multiple adaptor.
Do not leave the appliance connected when not in use. Remove the
plug from the mains outlet when the appliance is not used.
If the appliance will be not be used for an extended time period,
empty the water tank.
Coffee-maker shall not be placed in a cabinet when in use.
THE APPLIANCE MUST BE POWERED BY MEANS OF A
DIFFERENTIAL CIRCUIT BREAKER WITH AN OPERAT-
ING CURRENT OF NO MORE THAN 30mA.
THE APPLIANCE MUST ONLY BE CONNECTED TO THE
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM WITH A GROUNDED PLUG.
AVOID UNPLUGGING THE APPLIANCE BY PULLING ON
THE ELECTRICAL CORD.
WHILE OPERATING, THE ELECTRICAL SOCKET MUST BE
EASILY ACCESSIBLE SHOULD IT BE NECESSARY TO UN-
PLUG THE APPLIANCE.
