SPECIFIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
1. Do not over-tighten nuts. They could shatter and cause damage to the tool or work piece or cause serious injury.
Use a torque wrench to torque the nut after using the wrench.
2. Do not use any additional force upon the impact wrench in order to remove a nut. It will do the job better and
safer at the rate for which it was intended.
3. Do not allow impact wrench to run without load for an extended period of time as this will shorten its life.
4. To ensure the designed operational integrity of power tools, do not remove installed cover or screws.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS REGARDING THE CHARGER
WARNING! To reduce the risk of injury, charge only the specific type of rechargeable battery packs. Other types
of battery packs may burst causing personal injury and damage.
Note: Before using the charger, read all instructions instruction in this manual and cautionary markings on the battery
packs and chargers.
1. Do not expose the charger to rain or snow.
2 To reduce the risk of damage to the electric plug and cord, pull the plug rather than the cord when
disconnecting the charger.
3. Use of an attachment not recommended or sold by the charger manufacturer may result in a risk of fire, electric
shock, or personal injury.
4. Make sure the cord is located so that it will not be stepped on, tripped on, tripped over, or otherwise subjected
to damage or stress.
5. Do not operate charger with a damaged cord or plug. Replace the cord immediately if it becomes damaged
in any way.
6. Do not operate the charger if it has received a sharp blow, been dropped, or otherwise damaged in any way.
Take the charger to an authorized service center.
7. To reduce the risk of electric shock, unplug the charger from the outlet before attempting any maintenance
or cleaning.
Note: Turning off the controls will not reduce the risk.
8. Do not disassemble the charger or the battery pack. Bring them to a qualified service center if repairs
are required.
Note: Incorrect reassembling may result in a risk of electric shock or fire.
9. This product is designed with low voltage protection, which prevents the tool from over discharging and will
prolong the battery's lifespan.
SPECIFIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS REGARDING THE BATTERY PACK
1. Do not charge the battery pack when the temperature is below 10°C (50°F) or above 40°C (104°F)
2. Do not attempt to use a set-up transformer, an engine generator or a DC power receptacle.
3. Do not allow anything to cover or clog the charger vents.
4. Always cover the battery pack terminals with the battery pack cover when the battery pack is not in use.
5. Do not short the battery pack.
6. Do not expose the battery pack to water or rain. Do not touch the terminals with any conductive material.
Note: A battery pack short can use large current flow, thus overheating, possibly causing burns and
even breakdown.
7. Be careful not to drop, shake or strike the battery pack.
8. Do not charge inside of a box or container of any kind.
Note: The battery pack must be placed in a well ventilated area during charging.
