b) Back up files in Internet Explorer (32-bit only)
To use Internet Explorer to back up files, the following conditions have to be met:
 You have Internet Explorer 32 bits.
 Java needs to be installed and up to date.
 You need to activate the compatibility mode.
 You need to set specific ActiveX security settings.
1. To check whether you are using Internet Explorer 32 bit.
In Internet Explorer, open Help > About Internet Explorer.
o
You are using the 32-bit version if "64-bit version" is not shown in the screen.
2. Activate browser compatibility:
Select Tools > Compatibility View.

3. Set a custom security level for ActiveX controls:
Open Internet Options > Security tab and click Custom level.

Set the option "Download unsigned ActiveX controls" to "Prompt".
o
Click OK.
o
4. Access your camera in Internet Explorer (see above).
You can download the recorded files via the "Backup" button:
