EMERGENCY LOWERING OF HEADREST SECTION

The headrest section can be lowered manually (emergency lowering in the case of motor failure)

Emergency lowering is only permitted if at least two people are available.
Procedure:

There must be no objects or body parts between the headrest and the frame. Danger of being
crushed!

STEERING CASTORS

All steering castors can be locked to prevent involuntary rolling.

All steering castors should always be braked -- danger of accidents !
If only one castor is locked, the unlocked wheels can rotate around the locked one.
Turn the securing loop of the upper motor over.

One person holds the side of the headrest while another person pulls the

securing bolts out and removes the motor from its holder.

Activating the brake
Press down the gray brakeplate with the tip of the foot
till it locks in place. The castors can now neither roll
nor turn.
Releasing the brake

Flip up the grey brakeplate the tip of the foot in the
direction of the frame. The castors have now been
released and can both roll and swivel.
