Application / Properties
The LED module is intended for installation in an eLL. 92 light fitting,
whereby the following allocation applies:
- eLL. 92 2x18 W with EVG 09 suitable for LED module 400
- eLL. 92 2x36 W with EVG 09 suitable for LED module 800.
The contacts are placed on the front side of the LED module, can
snapped-in at the G13-holders of the eLL. 92.
Those EVG09 builted-in inside the light fitting ell.92 can use as power
supply, without further modifications.
The beam of light is transmitted to the exterior via the reflector mounted
under the LEDs.
The data as per point 3 and 4 shall be taken into account with the
use.
Applications other than described are not permitted without
Cooper Crouse-Hinds's/EATON's prior written consent.
For the operation, the instructions stated in section 7 of the operating
instructions shall be observed.
The user alone is responsible for the appropriate use of this LED
module.

Installing LED module conversion in the
light fitting eLL. 92
Before installation the LED module shall be inspected for any transport
damage (cracks or other damage to the LED module) to ensure its good
order and condition.
The warning labels on the LED module shall be observed.
1.
Open eLL. 92 light fitting in accordance with the operating instruc-
tions for the light fitting (fig. 3.1).
2. Remove the fluorescent tubes (fig. 3.2).
3. Open the reflector flaps at each end (fig. 3.3).
4. Remove the plastic-light-switch-cover (fig 3.4).
5. Replace the old plastic-light-switch-cover with the new EMC-light-
switch-cover (fig. 3.5 and fig. 3.7).
6. Fit the EMC contact (Fig. 3.6) into the reflector. Ensure that the
mounting position is correct. (fig. 3.8 and 3.9).
Do not squeeze the connection cables!
All connection cables shall be fitted with great care to ensure that
they are not damaged when the reflector flap or the light fitting is
closed.
7 .
Connect the terminal of the EMC contact to the EMC light switch
cover in the given position (fig. 3.10)
8. Connect the connection cable of the EMC light switch cover to the PE
terminal of the light fittin. (fig. 3.11).
9. Align the LED module so that the EMC pin of the LED module
engages in the EMC contact socket of the light fitting. Snap the
module into the G13 sockets of the light fitting, whereby a distinct
clicking sound can be heard (fig. 3.12).
10. Close the light fitting (fig 3.13).
The type of protection of the light fitting is extended to include the type
of protection of the LED module.

6.1
The light fitting eLL. 92 is has already been equipped with EMC-light-
switch-cover (fig. 3.5) and EMC contact (fig. 3.6).
Before installation the LED module shall be inspected for any transport
damage (cracks or other damage to the LED module) to ensure its good
order and condition.
The warning labels on the LED module shall be observed.
1.
Open eLL. 92 light fitting in accordance with the operating instructions
for the light fitting (fig. 3.1).
2. Remove the fluorescent tubes (fig. 3.2).
3. Align the LED module so that the EMC pin of the LED module
engages in the EMC contact socket of the light fitting. Snap the
module into the G13 sockets of the light fitting, whereby a distinct
clicking sound can be heard (fig. 3.12).
4. Close the light fitting (fig 3.13).
6.2
If the eLL. 92 light fitting is to be used with conventional fluorescent
tubes again, the following shall be observed:
1.
Open the eLL. 92 light fitting in accordance with the operating
instructions for the light fitting.
2. Remove the LED module
(fig. 3.14 and fig. 3.15).
3. Fit the fluorescent tubes into the G13 sockets of the light fitting. Here
it is necessary to observe the operating instructions for the light fitting.
6.3
For further "taking into operation" observe the relevant remarks of the
operating instruction of the light fitting.
7
Observe the national regulations applicable to the maintenance,
servicing and test of electrical apparatus as well as the general rules
of engineering (e.g. IEC/EN 60079-17)!
Check that there is no voltage or take suitable protective measures.
Only original COOPER CROUSE-HINDS/EATON parts shall be used for
carrying out repairs.
The required maintenance intervals are set according to their
application and should therefore be determined depending on the
conditions of use.
When servicing the apparatus, particularly those parts that are decisive for
the type of protection against explosion, will have to be checked.
If during servicing repairs prove to be necessary, section 8 of these
operating instructions will have to be observed.
