Then open the package with the spindle drive (spindle nut and
threaded spindle). The spindle nut must be pushed onto the
back end of the barrel until a clear click sound is heard. Check
that both sides of the spindle nut are locked. Screw the threaded
spindle in the spindle nut until it is in contact with the piston.
Remove the blue cap from the syringe. BIOCERA-VET® OSA
RTU can then be applied to the prepared bone defect directly or
using the cannula by slowly rotating the spindle clockwise as
presented below.

Application
The amount of BIOCERA-VET® OSA RTU required to fill a de-
fect depends on the defect size. In order to avoid delays during
the surgical procedure, it should be ensured prior to treatment
that a sufficient number of BIOCERA-VET® OSA RTU packa-
ges are available to fill the bone defect completely.
For minimally invasive applications, suitable imaging methods
should be used to monitor the filling of the bone defect.
Setting behavior / hardening
BIOCERA-VET® OSA RTU is set after combination or contact
with an aqueous solution, such as body fluids. Prior to contact
with an aqueous solution, BIOCERA-VET® OSA RTU can be
processed indefinitely.
