INDICATIONS
Lower back conditions that may benefit from
gross motion restriction, such as:
• Muscular low back pain.
• Sciatica.
• Lumbosacral strains.
• Chronic low back pain.
PERFORMANCE
The device provides lumbar spine gross
motion restriction.
The device reduces stress on the low back
in flexion and extension.
CONTRAINDICATION
Must not be used by individuals for whom
compression is contraindicated.
WARNING • PRECAUTION OF USE
Patients suffering from pelvic floor
weakness should consult with their medical
professional before using the orthosis.
The orthosis must not be used in direct
contact with a damaged skin.
This product contains Naturel Rubber Latex
which may cause allergic reactions.
Do not wear for extended periods without
medical follow-up.
The orthosis is a single patient use device.
Do not use for multiple patients.
If any problems occur with the use of the
orthosis, e.g. pain or appearance of local
signs, remove the orthosis and contact your
healthcare professional.
The user and/or patient must report any
serious incident that has occurred in relation
to the device to the manufacturer and the
competent authority of the Member State in
which the user and/or patient is established.
Gradual withdrawal possibly combined with
functional physiotherapy.

Lombogib Evolution is an extensible brace
®
featuring V-shaped posterior stays.
A soft back pad can be added/removed.
Additional stabilization is provided by
lumbosacral reinforcement resting on the
iliac crest. The brace is made of breathable
material and available in two different
heights: 21 and 26 cm.

The device is available in two heights: 21 cm (6669/6670) & 26 cm (6660/6661)
The size is to choose in accordance with the waist circumference, measured 2 cm above
the iliac crests (in cm)

SET UP AND OPERATION
The first trial should be carried out by a
qualified expert to understand the correct
fitting and how to put the device on properly.
Subsequently, the product should be put on
the patient in the same way by the user or
a family member or a friend.
During testing the fitter must shape the
V-shaped stays of the brace to adjust it to
your form.
1)Before fitting: open the belt, lay it down
flat, remove both finger holes and separate
the two parts of the belt.
2) Position the belt by placing the strap
with the Gibaud logo on the right side and
center the opening in the back piece over
the backbone. The lower section of the
back piece must be situated at the top of
the buttock crease.
3) Close the belt without tightening it.
4) Find the finger holes and place your
thumbs in the holes, hands facing forward;
pull the straps towards the front to tighten
firmly but comfortably. Attach the finger
holes to the front of the belt.
The tightness of the belt can be adjusted
according to pain and activity.
To remove the belt:
- Unhook the finger holes, leaving them
unattached.
- Open and remove the belt.
CARE INSTRUCTION, MAINTENANCE AND
DISPOSAL
Store the brace away from sources of
extreme heat (including radiators and tumble
dryers). Hand wash in warm soapy water
(maximum 40 ° C), rinse thoroughly. Wring
out gently; do not bleach; dry flat, do not
tumble dry; do not iron; do not dry clean.
The device and packaging must be disposed
of in accordance with respective local or
national environmental regulations.
