To access this menu option and have your gauge unit be calibrated, select Calibration, and then validate
through ENTER

Metric units
Number of measurements for calculating mean value
To change the number of measurements you want to take for the calculation of the calibration
parameters,
keep pressing ENTER

to have it changed accordingly. As soon as the specimen value is correctly set (e.g. 2.970
µm), position the probe stylus as for a typical measurement cycle, with chosen cut-off matching the one
you're using.
Finally, press Start
to execute the whole calibration cycle. The exploration status graphically shows
the progress of the probe throughout the measurement being taken. Continue to proceed in this way
until all the measurements you've previously set are completed.

The calibration procedure should be performed with the unit system set to millimeters. With active inch
system, your gauge unit will automatically switch over to millimeters since the specimen provided is
based on metric units.

We advise not to use the specimen longer than strictly necessary so as to prevent its surface from
