p) Use the machine only for dry sanding. Water penetrating into the machine increases the risk of an
electric shock.
q) Keep hands away from the cutting area. Do not reach under the workpiece. Contact with the blade
can lead to injuries.
r) When working with the tool, always hold it firmly with both hands. The power tool is guided more
secure with both hands.
Secure the workpiece. A workpiece clamped with clamping devices or in a vice is held more securely
than held by hand.
s) Wear protective gloves when changing application tools/accessories. Application tools/accessories
become hot after prolonged usage.
t) Do not scrap wet materials (such as wallpaper) or on moist surfaces. As water penetrating into the
tool increases the risk of an electric shock.
u) Do not treat the surface to be worked with solvent-containing fluids. Materials being warmed up
by the scraping can cause toxic vapours to develop.
v) Exercise extreme caution when handling the scraper. The accessory is very sharp; injury hazard!
3.4- Safety warnings regarding the use
1. The use of this product by children is forbidden.
Children and juveniles, except above age 16, under supervision and for educational purposes, must
not operate the tool, nor should persons unfamiliar with the tool or its handling (when borrowing).
Ensure that operation manual remains with the tool.
Persons unfit or tired must not operate the tool.
2. Only well-instructed adults should operate the product. This product is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the product by a person responsible for their safety.

Residual risks
Even when the tool is used as prescribed it is not possible to eliminate all residual risk factors.
The following hazards may arise in connection with the tool's construction and design:
a. Electric hazard if a defective power cord or extension cord is used.
b. Risk of serious injury if you touch the blade while in use
c. Damage to hearing if effective hearing protection is not worn.
d. Projection hazard! Risk of injury from flying debris during sanding or cutting.
4. WARNING! This machine produces an electromagnetic field during operation.
This field may under some circumstances interfere with active or passive medical implants.
To reduce the risk of serious or fatal injury, we recommend persons with medical implants to consult
their physician and the medical implant manufacturer before operating this machine.
5. WARNING! A certain level of noise emitted from this machine is not avoidable.
Plan noisy works according to local laws and at specific times.
Keep rest periods and if necessary restrict the working hours to a minimum.
For your own personal protection and the protection of bystanders have suitable hearing
protection worn during operation
6. The declared vibration total value has been measured in accordance with a standard test method
and may be used for comparing one tool with another.
The declared vibration total value may also be used in a preliminary assessment of exposure
Warning! The vibration emission during actual use of the power tool can differ from the declared
total value depending on the ways in which the tool is used.
There is the need to identify safety measures to protect the operator that are based on an estimation of
exposure in the actual conditions of use (taking account of all parts of the operating cycle such as the
times when the tool is switched off and when it is running idle in addition to the trigger time).
