Insert the battery (5) into the battery

compartment and press in gently
Close the battery compartment
Fold down the cover (2) – the

retaining lug (1) must engage
The battery compartment must always
be closed during operation.
Switching on the machine
Do not start the motor in long grass or in
the lowest cut setting as this makes it
more difficult for the motor to start.

Press and hold the trigger switch

lockout (1) with the right hand
Pull the switch lever (2) with the left

hand towards the handlebars, and
hold – you can now let go of the
trigger switch lockout

Switching Off

To switch off the motor, release the

switch lever (1) – the cutting blade
comes to a standstill after coasting
for a few seconds.
Always remove the battery and fuse key
from the power tool during work breaks
and after finishing work.
