Effects/Tone
Use the EFFECTS knob to temporarily change effects for
the currently active INSTRUMENT channel preset. Each
time you turn the PRESET knob to select a different pre-
set, the effects are reset to their pre-programmed default
selection for the preset. The position of the EFFECTS knob
will NOT show the actual effect selection until the
EFFECTS knob is turned. You can program the default effects for each
preset as well as see the names and details of each effect using Fender®
FUSE™ software.
The three numbered LEDs below the TAP button indicate exactly which
effect position (1, 2, or 3) is being selected within each of the four let-
tered selection ranges (A, B, C, D). For example, effect "A-1" is shown
below:

the VOCAL channel.

TAP
The TAP button can be used to tap in the delay time or mod-
ulation rate setting for the currently active effect. When a
delay type effect is active, the TAP button will blink
sync with the delay time setting. When a modulation type effect is
active, the TAP button will blink
red
ting. (If both delay and modulation effects are simultaneously active, the
TAP button will only indicate and control the delay effect.
To use the TAP button to adjust the effect time/rate interval, simply tap
the TAP button twice in sync with the desired interval. Pressing the TAP
button only one time will set the interval to the maximum value.
Effect time/rate intervals can be adjusted with total precision
using Fender® FUSE™ software.
