Installation and operating instructions for air circulation heater INDIANA 2.0
• In industrial facilities, the Accident Prevention regulations for electrical installations and operating
material of the industrial employer's liability insurance association are to be observed.
• Never spill fluids on the apparatus. There is a danger of fire or lethal electric shock. If this should
nevertheless transpire, unplug the mains and consult a specialist.
• Should you be unsure about proper connection or should any questions arise that are not dealt
within the operating instructions, please contact the manufacturer or a specialist.
• This apparatus may not be operated by persons (including children) with limited physical, sensory
or mental faculties, nor by persons who are not sufficiently experienced or adequately
knowledgeable in the use of the product, unless such persons are supervised or instructed in the
use of the apparatus by a person responsible for their safety.
5. Installation
In damp rooms, electrical apparatus may only be operated from residual current protected sockets!
Before operating the apparatus, ensure that this is the case where it is to be installed. Make sure
that the maximum current is not exceeded when the outlet has more than one socket or when using
extension plugs. Cable reels must always be fully unwound.
Ensure that the air circulation heater is not connected to mains before or during installation. Select
the place for installation to obviate the possibility of being exposed to rain or falling into water.
Lay the connecting cable in a manner that it does not pose a stumbling hazard, cannot be crushed
or come into contact with hot objects. Use only extension leads matched to the power rating of the
apparatus and complying with the applicable safety regulations.
Do not wind the connecting lead around the apparatus and never operate the apparatus with a
coiled lead. This is applicable especially when using extension leads on drums. Operate the air
circulation heater only after mounting on a vertical wall. It must never be mounted on ceilings.
Step 1:
Attach the mounting plate (B) to the plastic bracket (C) using the M5 bolts (J). Then
screw the plastic bracket (C) to the enclosure (A) of the heater using the self tapping
screw (I).
Step 2:
Screw the plastic bracket (D) to the bottom part of the enclosure (A) using the self
tapping screw (I).
Step 3:
Now use 4 self tapping screws (I) to screw the exhaust air duct (E) (unless already fitted)
to the exhaust aperture of the enclosure (A). Then use the hose clamps (G) to attach the
two flexible aluminium ducts (F) to the exhaust air port (E).
Step 4:
You can now fit the heating apparatus to the gable side of your greenhouse. Use the M6
hammer head screws (H) for this. Hook the hammer head screws into one of the metal
profiles of the greenhouse and attach the heating apparatus using the counter nut.
