8. Disposal

8.1 Disposal instructions

If the machine would be put out of service, please follow the instructions below for disposal:
The refrigerant circuit of the ice cube maker contains HFC and lubricants that are harmful to water!
The machine must therefore be disposed of properly according to the relevant environmental protection
regulations. Should you have no options for proper disposal, please contact your specialist dealer or
WESSAMAT directly.
(ice maker has insufficient

2. Compressor faulty
3. Hot gas valve faulty (valve no
longer closes)
1. Condenser is soiled
2. In water-cooled machines, the
water supply may be interrupted

2. Measure electrical conductance of
the individual cables, rectify
interruption, replace probe if necessary
3. Replace water sensor electronics
Check trough motor voltage. If voltage
is present and the trough motor does
not turn, replace the trough motor
1. Clean condenser
2. Check cooling water controller,
setpoint temperature +30°C, readjust
or replace if necessary
1. Align machine
2. Readjust trough
3. Clean / descale water level sensor
1. Clean pre-screen
2. Check input voltage, replace water
inlet valve if necessary
3. Dry the water level sensor
4. Replace water sensor electronics
Ensure free water drainage
Readjust or replace cooling water
controller
