5. Installation and commissioning

Follow the instructions below during assembly and installation to ensure optimum functioning of the ice cube
maker:

5.1 Assembly

The ice cube maker must not be operated in the following environments:
atmosphere subject to explosion hazard,
toxic atmosphere,
damp rooms.
Direct heat sources such as ovens, dishwashers etc. will impair the performance of the ice cube maker and
increase the cleaning effort and energy consumption.
CAUTION: Under certain ambient conditions (e. g. high ambient temperature and/or high humidity) there
can be formation of condensation water in the area of the ice cube maker.
5.1.1 Unpack the machine after delivery. (Please keep the packaging in case you have to return the machine for
servicing.) Prior to installation, please remove the white protective foil from the covering panels.
5.1.2 The device should be positioned absolutely level. Please utilise the plastic strip enclosed to the slide-in
tray for the alignment (see installation instruction for slide-in tray).
NOTE: All connections must comply with the relevant regulations! Please note the technical data and
operating conditions chapter 4.4.

CAUTION: When the device is pushed back in, the water drain tube may become bent or kinked, thus
preventing draining of the water. Please keep an eye on the tube during re-assembly.
