Fitting instructions

1/ Disassemble the bumper and permanently remove the metal buffer beam.
2/ Slide the tow bar via the openings which have been revealed, into the chassis beams at the rear, until
points (A) match with the drillings provided in the chassis beam. Insert the bolts and washers and screw
everything tightly (see tension).
3/ Make an incision in the lower rim of the bumper (see fig. 1). Re-assemble the bumper on the vehicle.
4/ Assemble the ball (see fig. 2) along with the multiple socket holder (-p) and the safety ring (-s).
Disassembling the bumper:
- Disassemble the rear light units by means of the plastic nut inside the trunk.
- Lower light units, 2 x 2 metal screws and 2 x 2 plastic nails.
- 2 x 4 screws on the mud guard.
- 6 screws at the bottom of the bumper.
- Click the sides of the bumper loose.
- Shift the bumper to the back.
Note
Please consult your cardealer or owners manual for the maximal permissable towing mass.
Remove any bitumen coating on the fastening position for the tow bar.
When drilling, be carefull not to damage any brake lines, electrical wiring or fuel lines.
