Fitting instructions

1. Remove the spare wheel and the exhaust from the filling up rubbers.
2. Install the tow bar with points (F) against the provided drillings in the middle of the back of the vehicle,
insert the bolts without tightening. Points (C) fit on the left side of the bottom of the chassis beam, pierce
these holes in the chassis beam. Remove the tow bar and enlarge the hole with Ø22mm, insert the filling-up
tubes (5) in the chassis beam and reinstall the tow bar on the vehicle. Insert he bolts at points (C) without
tightening.
3. Install the assembly plate (1) at the right side of the tow bar with points (D) and (E) against the tow bar and
with points (C) against the bottom of the chassis beam at the right, insert the bolts at points (D) and (E)
without tightening. Pierce the holes (C) trough the chassis beam, remove the assembly plate (1) and enlarge
the holes at the bottom of the vehicle with Ø22mm. Insert the filling-up rubbers (5) in the chassis beam and
reinstall the assemble plate (1).
4. Insert at both side of the chassis beam the filling-up tubes (4) right trough the chassis beam in the provided
holes at the height of the traction eye. Insert the assembly square (2) at the right inner side of the chassis
beam and assembly square (3) at the left inner side with points (A) fitting on the provided hole in the
chassis beam and with points (B) on the hole in the side plate of the tow bar. Insert the bolts and washers
and do tighten everything firmly.
5. Do assemble the ball.
Note
Please consult your cardealer or owners manual for the maximal permissable towing mass.
Remove any bitumen coating on the fastening position for the tow bar.
When drilling, be carefull not to damage any brake lines, electrical wiring or fuel lines.
