Fitting instructions

1. Remove the spare wheel and unscrew the hindmost bolt which connects the coach work to the
chassis (see picture 1), disassemble the bumper and permanently remove the bumper supports.
2. Place both assembly plates (1) with points (A) against the exterior side of the chassis beams on
the provided screw-thread holes (fixation of the bumper). Insert the nut pieces (2) in the chassis
beam through the hole in the back of the chassis beam, till in front of the drilling of point (B),
and insert the bolts without tightening.
3. Place the tow bar between both assembly plates (1) and place the bumper supports (3) and (4)
against the exterior side. Insert the bolts at points (D) and (E), without tightening. Place the
assembly pieces (5) and (6) with points (G) against the interior side of the tow bar and with
points (C) against the bottom, corresponding the hindmost bolt that connects the coach work to
the chassis. Insert the bolts and tighten everything firmly (see tension).
4. Assemble the bumper on points (F) of the bumper supports.
5. Assemble the flange ball, insert the bolts and tighten everything firmly (see tension).
Note
Please consult your cardealer or owners manual for the maximal permissable towing mass.
Remove any bitumen coating on the fastening position for the tow bar.
When drilling, be carefull not to damage any brake lines, electrical wiring or fuel lines.
